Like all diseases or conditions, anxiety disorder can get out of control if you do not treat it when it is not so serious. If you suspect that you are dealing with anxiety attacks, it is best to seek treatment as soon as possible.
Deaing with Anxiety disorder can last for quite a period of time, sometimes up to 6 months or more. Alcohol or substance abuse may also occur concurrently with anxiety disorder. This will usually mask the symptoms of anxiety disorder, making the situation worse.
Fortunately, there are various types of therapies that are rather effective in dealing with anxiety disorder. In fact, researchers are actively developing better treatment techniques that will help people suffering from anxiety attacks.
The first step towards recovery is definitely a correct diagnosis. In fact, there are several different types of anxiety disorder. If you suspect that you are suffering from any type of anxiety disorder, it is best to consult a physician or any qualified health care professional about your condition.
Depending on the type of anxiety disorder that you have, the treatment will be different.
Sometimes, before you consider visiting a physician, you may want to know whether it is really a disorder or simply being anxious. For example, maybe you are undergoing a stressful period recently. That is why you feel anxious most of the time. Maybe you are having exam and you have to complete a major project in your workplace?
Perhaps, a good guideline is this:
If you are always anxious for no particular reason, even during a supposedly stress free period, then you may be suffering from an anxiety disorder. If you are in this situation, then it may be time to see your doctor for further examination.

I totally admit to ignoring the news -except when I search for a specific topic. Most of my feeds are about opinion, thoughts, and real change, not news, I don’t turn the TV on (no news, or series) and the radio only sporadically, and read a paper once or twice a week. And even in FF i tend to ignore most of the bits of my feeds that are about current news, conferences. Anything important still makes it to my awareness very fast, but I miss a lot of memes and fads and temporary panic, plus all the scandals. That’s because in the end most news are NOT-NEWS, just noise made to entertain and distract – and if I want to be entertained, I use fiction.

Firstly, congrats on having the courage to speak out and get help. I know it can be hard. Yes you are right, part of it is from performance anxiety, but alot is about your partner. If for example, your with someone new an it happens, if she makes a big deal about it, or leaves. or things get uncomfortable. It is her fault. If your with a girl and it happens, you know she is the right one if she doesn't make a deal about it,continues kissing you or gets you to pleasure her, you can be sure your erection welcome back BECAUSE your comfort level and trust will have gone up with this person (pardon the pun) So in the end, even if it keeps happening, if you can't get it up, or you lose the erection. It is dependent on the women. So just think. Your saving the heavenly pleasures for a women of worth
Just a matter of who you're talking to. Your physician will call it an anxiety attack. Lay people will call them panic attacks. By the way, they can be controlled, even without medication. Contact a physician who works in mental healthcare or a mental health counselor. They can help you work through these by finding the problem that's causing the attacks.

do a search but their not going to let u talk to patients dur to HIPPA laws that protect privacy they cant even tell whether someone there or not.
